I gave my DVD copy to my mum as one of her mother's day presents this year and have been waiting for the blu-ray to come out before rebuying. Had an eye on the Dutch release or whatever it was but don't need to import now. Great news

I believe I read from others that all Universal titles are region free, correct? If so, might just pick this one up instead of the German version, unless a US release date is announced before this release.

I'll be surprised if its any different from the disc Universal have issued in Germany and the captures on http://www.caps-a-holic.com/hd_vergl...D=1694#auswahl look rather disappointing largely thanks to the duller colours on the blu ray. I shall stick with my US DVD for now and hope that country gets a better blu ray at some point

No bonus features, PQ is great but like One Hour Photo, it suffers from the occasional telecine wobble which will make you feel dizzy when watched on very large screens.

Very unfortunate news. I suppose I'll hold out and hope that it gets a better release down the road.

It's really not that bad, most noticible in the opening scene but the rest is fine. I recommend getting it or waiting for a pice drop as I doubt it will be getting released again.

I agree it really isn't that bad. It is a great upgrade from standard def. There are some scenes when split screen is used that the image isn't as good kind of like an optical look. Was surprised by the amount of detail for sure.
