Default What are your case type preferences?

When you guys buy Blu-rays do you have any preferences as to case type when selecting which version to buy? Standard Viva Elite/Vortex style case, SteelBook or Digibook?

What do you guys like?

don't really care about packaging. an eco case is fine with me. Digibooks are cool for the written information. steelbooks are dumb. I buy them for the film not the packaging.

I personally like the standard blu-ray.

Honestly anything else stresses me out. I don't like having to collect a bunch of steelcases because it gets crazy.

Honestly anything is fine with me, from steelies to eco cases. Also, there better be a working movie in that case

Standard cases. I actually prefer the eco-lite Vortex cases that Universal uses.

Viva Elites for standard cases. They are the most durable and can be had for cheap from Discmakers. Eco cases of any kind whether they have holes or are just plain thin and flimsy should be melted down and turned into something useful.

I'd much prefer all BDs to come in the same style cases. I love Digipak and Digibooks but they should come with the normal case too. The recent release of Malena had both versions in one pack. I'd store the cardboard one and display the Amaray.

Criterion style cases that leave more room for the artwork. The bigger artwork the better. Also the spines in thicker cases can fit more art.

I guess I'd consider myself a former Steelbook Junkie... I used to be all about getting a Steelbook, regardless of price, etc. Now I actually prefer just the normal amaray cases. The Criterion cases are cool, but a little too thick for my tastes. Digibooks are a close second.

I get steelbook if I love the film. It if not I like vortex cases Sony uses. I like the older vortex that are solid not the Eco friendly ones that have the outline of the part they should have cut out

I throw my cases away and stack the discs on the floor. I'm hoping to reach the ceiling by the end of the year.

Will never buy a standard amaray edition again! Must be eye candy outside and inside the box!
