Default Calibration Picture options for the F7100

I recently got a 60" samsung F7100 tv and i use the AVS HD calibration video but it just doesn't look right and I searched online but all i see are the 8000 ones .
Anyone have a good calibration for Blu ray movies and Game mode?

Thanks

Without seeing your tv and the use of measuring equipment it would be impossible to give you calibration settings, but there are some basic steps that are easy to do. Firstly switch off all digital enhancements, then select Movie mode and Warm 2 on your Samsung, next set brightness and contrast using your calibration disc leaving colour at the default setting and you should be good to go.

You might want to consider a professional calibration at some point.

In the meantime, take a look at tweak tv.com and/or cnet.com for seething for your tv (granted they have already calibrated your model alright).

A lot of people won't recommend this, especially on this site, but if you are a silver Rewards member at Best Buy you get a free tv calibration.. FREE!!

I know it's a different model, but you can try the settings I posted for my F6400 (I calibrated it myself using the i1Display Pro) here. They may be similar enough to give you good results. Not like you can't change them back if it doesn't. Hope that helps.

That's not really a complete calibration and I'm not sure that the BB techs are ISF certified.

As far as I know it was a complete calibration.. And the guys that Best Buy sends are ISF certified. They dont send the Geek Squad guys who work in the store.. These guys are contracted out by Best Buy and they just put on the Geek Squad shirt. The calibration you get from them has received mix reviews. It really depends on the tech that you get. But you can't beat free if you are a Silver Rewards member. If you end up not liking it, then just pay for a calibration from a different company.

I tried using the setting of a 8000 series since its almost the same and it looks ok not impresed for a 2000 tv . Im thinking of going back to a Sony HDTV and im looking at the KDL-60R550A do you guys know if it looks any better than the samsung?
