Garage Sale!

Ok...so on saturday...I woke up early, couldn't sleep. It was 6:30 AM...so I said...what the hell, havn't been to a garage sale in years....let's go! I ended up at some guy's house...where he was jsut putting his stuff outside. I looked through a box...and I found a Toshiba A2 HD-DVD player...and about 30 HD-DVDs..I asked him if he was selling them....He said give me $50 for the whole box. WOOT! snatched it, it had some movies I already have, but $50 alone for the player was great, so I now have an upconverting DVD player for my bedroom And since I have the baby coming...I'll give him some of those disks to play with! Maybe I should wake up early more often....

Good snag, why dont you put all the HD movies on ebay and make some cash back to make that HD player free??

or you could use them as coasters, the choice is yours.

i am surprised to see this kind of stuff already in garage sales, seems pretty fast. you would figure they would want to watch it a little more and atleast get some more use out of it before getting rid of it. did you make sure it worked yet? anyhow good snag.

Yeah I was pretty surprised myself...I was going to ask him why, but I figured he might change his mind or go higher...so I just handed him the money. I'll probably at least sell the ones I have duplicates on for a few bucks or something. Some of the other are good titles which I might keep.
