I loooove Johnnie To! I've been slow to seeing his newer films, and this one looks amazing!

As far as I'm concerned, this is the movie to beat in 2013. It's easily To's best since Life Without Principle and may well be superior (hard to do a direct comparison since Drug War is more of an action movie).

I hope there are more features than just the trailer, especially since Louis Koo claims they shot an entire alternate ending that the mainland censors rejected--not that it really hurt the film, and in fact I find it almost impossible to imagine it ending any other way.

Watched this last night. Really strange movie.
[Show spoiler]Seems like it's developing into a complex undercover cop vs drug lord type movie then it just degenerates into everyone going crazy and shooting everyone. For example, the Sun Hong Lei character is intelligent and controlled for 90% of the movie but then ends up riding the back of a car like a chariot while he's shooting at the same time
. Didn't know whether to laugh or not.

Reminds me of Expect the Unexpected.
