This will obviously be a next-gen title since they just started working on it. It will be developed by Dice Los Angeles, the same team behind Medal of Honor: Warfighter and powered by Frostbite 3 engine.

Star Wars: Battlefront Won't Be a Battlefield Game

can't believe I missed this. And DICE is making it at that

Let's just hope there isn't any suppression from lightsabers

By the same team that created Medal of Honor: Warfighter... That right there makes me want to pass.

That Studios current gen games have all been bombs...

However, the Studio was also behind Command and Conquer 3 & 4, Red Rising, and the The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth (1, 2, And rise of the which king) for the PC.

They seem to have better luck on the PC with their RTS games than FPS console games

I hope you can cycle through 1st person and 3rd person like previous Battlefront games. If it's a 1st person shooter count me out...

Battlefront should be 3rd person. I'd like another Republic Commando-type FPS, though. Maybe set during Episode VII.

Yep. That aspect must be retained. I don't really do well with pure FPS games.
