No, I definitely think it's a good thing. More product will mean lower prices, and hurt the secondary market. People, like me, that enjoy collecting steelbooks for the sake of collecting won't be bothered by this news. Only the folks that like to speculate and buy multiple copies, to try and turn a profit will be put off by this news.

10K runs? Maybe they can find some extra steel and stamp out a few more Aladdins for those of us who missed out.

Well that's what Zavvi is asking, so that sets the market. By 'low priced', I'm talking about the: double, triple, or even quadruple price hike by scalpers looking to make a quick buck.

Its still for sale. If you snooze you lose.

What people charge down the road is respective of demand at the time. Which can neither be forecast/predicted or banked on. All it takes is 2 ebay bids of relatively high value to set the scene for a scalp. But the bidders chose to bid and chose to pay. Thats who is to blame. Right now its available for MSRP!!! You know 3 years down the road Disney will put this in the vault and no Disney steel will be forthcoming. So if your reading this.. BUY IT NOW!

If buying steelbooks was like a vending machine, choose your option and the steel came out. Nobody would buy it. Steelbooks existed on this "limited" model since their birth. Its part of the attraction.

I had both in my cart a number of times but I couldn't justify the price. I'm sure that happened to many other (less vocal) members here too. I'd go to checkout and then I'd just start feeling like I was going to be ripped off, and I despise feeling like I'm being taken advantage of.

Got the same email and initially, as soon as I saw the date, I thought it was pushed back to Dec 8.
