Default Too many ROTEL RMB-1095 amplifiers for sale! Is it something wrong with them?

Hello,

I'm a big Rotel fan and I have being looking for a Rotel RMB -1095 amplifier for sale for a while, but they are not easy to find and when you find them on websites like eBay or Audiogon, they don't last too long before they get sold.

In the last month I have seen a few amplifiers for sale on both websites at the same time, that many to make me wonder myself if there something wrong with them. I know for first hand they are too reliable cost-benefit but I also know they are a beast and they can raise up your power bill.

Does anyone know if there is something wrong with them? Is it thru they raise up your power bill or it is just about people going green and getting more efficient amplifiers? I know the series 15 amplifiers are more efficient but more expensive too!

Thanks,

Frank!

I had the 1075 (only difference of the 1095 is watts). Owned it for 4 years without any issues. They are fantastic amps. I can imagine the 1095 is made for more powerful speakers with its 200 watts of power and over 300 watts each channel at 4ohms.

The only reason i sold mine was i wanted a 7 channel amplifier. I could have added another 2 channel amp but found a great deal on a Sherwood Newcastle 7 channel amp that performs wonderfully.

To answer your question if you find a good deal on a Rotel go for it as they are virtually indestructible.

Funny because I just got a 1075 and have noticed a few 1095s on Craigslist. If you can get it for a killer price go for it, Rotel isn't known for making crap products. I've enjoyed mine so far and would recommend their amps to anyone.
