I really hate HBO's pricing on their season sets. It obviously has nothing to do with their cost, as you can get lower shows like, Curb Your Enthusiasm for like $30 a season. 10-12 episodes. But then you have Sopranos, 12 episodes which sure are longer, but most are not an hour long, and its like $100 list price just for dvd, and like $150 msrp for the BD. Im sure the MSRP of Band is gonna be at least 150.

It's a shame Band of Brothers wasn't released in April because as for most of those pathetic April releases...we'll have alot of time on our hands. How many days does April have again?

Hmmm. I thought I read a blurb about that (and that is was shooting) in something I read about John Adams, currently showing and another Hanks project.

Could be wrong, though.

EDIT - just read the later responses and see that they are shooting. Cool

EDIT#2 - I also read the link and see that this one is partly based on Eugene Sledge. Those of you that watched Ken Burns' series The War should be very familiar with "sledgehammer", as he was friends with one of the Mobile vets featured in that mini-series. Also, if you have a chance, I cannot recommend enough his book With the Old Breed. It's a read unlike most WWII memoirs, to say the least.

I enjoyed Hitler: The Rise of Evil very much. I'm surprised anyone knows what that is. As for Band of Brothers, I hope it releases this year. Now I'm going to be thinking about it on blu all summer. I hope the price does not go beyond $150.00 thats for sure.
