This is way too early for a pre-order! I could be dead by then, or living off £30 a week. If I ordered now, lost everything and forgot to cancel my pre-order I could be in real trouble when they take the money out of my account.

I don't remember the others coming up this early. Perhaps they will release it by Christmas? Hope so...

I'd hope this gets released this year. It should be out the week after the series finishes on Sky! That's how the BBC do it...

I always thought it was mad of them to not have it released in time for Christmas, maybe they're doing it this time?

I find it quite strange that season one still comes in the digipack. Normally it would have been swapped out for amarays by now. Although HBO tend to have a preference for this type of packaging, e.g. Band of Brother/ The Pacific...

I haven't gotten around to buying any Blu's, so I've ordered a season 1-3 Blu-ray box set for £66 from Amazon. So just put it out of my mind 'till next year. I haven't seen any of season 3, as I don't get Sky Atlantic anymore.

I have seen it in amaray form, in a CEX store. I assume it was from the gift set, as that's definitely an amaray version.

After getting the Season 1 & 2 boxset and watching them all back to back for the first time recently (this year) and not having SKY like the whole world over does and not wishing to attempt to download it (I don't download anything) - I am really looking forward to watching Season 3. Have avoided all the spoilers I can - in fact, don't know anything about Season 3!
So can just enjoy it when I get this on BD. I Hope it isn't a March 2014 release

You've done really well to avoid any... Season 3 was amazing with a lot of big moments.

I'm hoping also, they're teasing us putting it up so early

Sainsbury's is still cheaper... Amazon upped the price for some reason.

I was so annoyed that the general press were dropping spoilers left right and center. So it was almost impossible to avoid. I heard all about the Red Wedding when I didnt want to know anything. It sucks that everyone assumes that everyone has Sky. I'd rather watch it on blu ray for superior picture and sound.

Come on Monkeyspoons, at least spoiler tag
[Show spoiler]The Red Wedding
. It may not describe what happens but it's a fairly ominous hint for Rincewind.

You really need to spoiler that.

I loved Season 3 - I don't mind waiting a bit for the set. They always put so much work into them in terms of content and look, so I wouldn't want a rush job (unlike BBC...).

Edit: lol Buddy, you beat me to it.

I have no idea what the comment meant about the wedding!!!
it's avoiding forums that has kept me Spoiler Free, so must not let my curiosity get to me to much!

I enjoyed it too. Even though I've read all the books I can't remember much. Some of the season three stuff seemed fresh so I'm not sure how my brain works. I was watching and thinking "didn't that happen in the last book I read?"

Hopefully I didn't read the books in the wrong order! But I did have to read the bit in the beginning to make sure, why they just don't have a big number on the front for idiots like me I don't know!

I'm not sure who's behind the wheel at Amazon with they inflated prices, I've bought each set the first week in Tescos (they were £30 a piece) with vouchers and a bit of cash but £49.99? Do they expect people just to pre-order and wait for the price to drop? There's no incentive for us!
