From the live-action: Welling, Cavill, Routh
From the cartoons: Superman Animated series, DC animated movies(not all of them though)

Never really read the comics, just skimmed a few. Comic Book focus was on Batman growing up...

I'd spoon with Cavill.

I haven't really delved into Supes much, but I enjoyed the Red Son Elseworlds storyline. Recently, a friend got me interested in the Fleischer cartoons. I like the way he's not completely invincible, just a tough nut to crack (in one episode he's seriously slowed down by a case full of mustard gas cannisters).

I have hated everything about Superman (aside from the comics and Superman in theory) except for a few eps and scenes here and there in Smallville.

That all changed with Man of Steel.

I think Snyder more or less nailed it and I can't wait for more. I loved it and got teary eyed multiple times.

I really like Tom Welling in Smallville. I still have yet to see Man of Steel. At some point I hope to.

Welling, Durance, and Rosenbaum were all fantastic.

Smallville was a massive waste of incredible talent and casting.

It is even more painful looking back on it after watching the excellent Arrow first season.

90's animated series was my childhood. Also dig the current WB Animation film versions, favorite probably being All-Star Superman.

I recently re-watched most all of Smallville when they introduced Lois and got Clark into Metropolis and brought in Oliver Queen (Green Arrow) the show took a massive leap forward in my opinion in acting and storytelling. I find myself re-watching those seasons episodes more than the others.

Superman: The Movie and Superman II are still my favorite Superman movies.

My introduction to Superman, though, was through the Hanna Barbara Super Friends cartoons of the 1970s, and that's what I always picture when I think of the character.
