Shout Factory and Amazon? - Blu-ray Forum

I just tried ordering Futureworld from amazon.com and it came back with a "won't ship to the UK" message. Tried again with Lifeforce. Same message. For kicks I tried pre-ordering The Fog. Same again.

I've never had problems with any other titles - including those from Shout Factory.

Is there now an embargo from importing Shout Factory titles?

No, there isn't an embargo.

There is a glitch, which ShoutFactory insider Cmac (in the thread below) has confirmed will be fixed shortly

Yes, if you look at the product page for each shout blu ray it says currently wont ship outside US. This is something new, also with the vci company, and wwe blu rays. This is very strange.

No, Chip, but they don't carry it. There are also some Impulse Pictures discs they do not carry. You will have to order though the merchants, or other outlets.

Thanks Pro-B. It's a shame Amazon don't carry it. Hopefully that will change in the future. I don't think Distribpix Inc. ship to the UK either.

I was also looking at this and hit the same problem won't ship to UK.
Given it is fulfilled by Amazon for shipping, so they have the stock, I presume it is the distributor of the title who has blocked sales outside the US ?

They're still blocked on Amazon.

Importcds has this for $10.99 even with postage it'll be cheaper from Importcds than Amazon. The other titles The Fog, Lifeforce etc are cheaper on Importcds

I think you have to go to their adult* section. Click the Home tab and go from there. It be interested in what the total is and what happens if it get stopped by customs!

*it contains graphic adult images (obviously).

That sucks ass if you can't import anymore where will this take us?! All the more stupid they can make additional bucks with the international buffs like us (who'll also probably other editions in their countries)...
