But after reading about MP for this game. It's not about just killing people.
Killing people does play a big part of it because that's the way to earn the most 'parts' per game. First you down them, then 'execute' them in whatever way you got. More 'special' the more parts you gain.

I'd say though if you plan on keeping your clan healthy and fed when you've got 60+ people and want to survive till Week 12 especially from the 100% wipeout threats, you HAVE to only play in proper clan member groups with headsets, or at the very least half the team or more may need to be directed by the guy that does have the microphone.

It is better though if you all have it. Second of all, make sure you scavenge as much as possible from the supply points in any game mode. Sometimes there are a 100 parts and if anything, they give you components to crafts bombs and molotovs or if you are on the challenge, those important smoke bombs so you can shiv people.

Well, I made it to week 6 and my entire group got slaughtered so I had to start over! 60 people killed in one hit. Went with Hunters this time.

The game progressively gets more brutal. Basically a friend recommended that you not do any of the 'easy' challenges until you get more into the later stages of the 12 weeks period, because the dangers are much more severe like 100% of clan getting wiped out if you don't complete such challenges.

I've rebuilt my clan up to 80ish, but I had to leave mid session, and the whole lot are mostly hungry and sick as a result. I'm not playing solo anymore, only with a headset or good group of friends and we're mostly keeping and gaining clan numbers as we progress as we can help each other out doing the challenges.

Now, revolver, 9mm and long gun downs are amongst the easier gun challenges. Heals are also very easily done, so save these for as long as possible.

Yes, it's confusing! I have no idea why my teamates drop a box in the beginning, but I just open it and take all the goodies. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing They are probably cursing me out but I have everyone on mute because I don't use a mic.

Do NOT give up on MP. It is a fantastic experience for people imo.

The white dots represent boxes with crafting materials and sometimes parts and melee items if you're lucky. They are opened with triangle and then you have to wait for them to re-appear after a bit. As said before, you can play this game solo, but playing in a group with headsets is the best way, especially later into the weeks.

The tactics are usually to kill the other team and not get killed. Just like SP, the 'listen mode' is almost an essential tool to utilise to find and kill the other members of the opposing team. Now, staying crouched and walking everywhere keeps you off the radar, but once you shoot an unsilenced weapon, you're vulnerable to attack as the entire opposing team can see where you are for that brief exchange. If they are on the other side of the map however, it leads to them sprinting so you know how many are coming and can finish off or run.

Like I've posted previously, this game is very much a tactical game and if you go gung ho you WILL die a lot, and that may put a lot of people off. Just get used to the gameplay and play with people in a proper group with headsets imo.

I'm on quite frequently but my net sucks and sometimes I can't seem to connect so I aren't able to play. I'm also a firefly though and I think you're a hunter, so not sure if inviting you to my team will help, because I did hear it was possible to play with people who chose different factions but teamed up.

I agree, don't give up on this game. i finally played MP today and I really like it . it sucks not playing with people with a mic and it makes it harder but just stick with somebody and use the listen mode as much as possible.

Played around 30 mins online last night. Starting to get the hang of it. Just need to work on my aiming and fast reaction time. I still manage to hit the wrong buttons which gets me killed.

So who wants to play tonight? I've been going solo and would like to team up with some people. I'm a Hunter, but I believe you join regardless of clan. I've seen people be on different teams. I'll be on around 7pm EST and have a mic.

I'm playing right now.

I'm really getting sick of disconnecting from a match and being punished for it. Waiting for a game to start and disconnects. Go back and I lost one day for the 3 day challenge and my clan full of healthy people is now hungry and sick. I could see if you intentionally leave, but punished because a match didn't load right is ridiculous.

I haven't had a problem disconnecting but I have a problem when I shot a guy pointblank range and it seemed that I didn't hurt him.

I love this MP. The tactical aspect gives it so much depth. I have came back from last man standing (1 vs 3), multiple times. You can booby trap doors and lead enemies that path. If you get an item box during last man standing you can get multiple bombs and items. Again, it all depends on your team working together. The tighter the team, the better the game.

played lots more over weekend, loving it now, got a couple of mates with mics, and it really helps, we win a lot more than lose, mics is the key to winning and sticking together
