lol not sure what's happened with the bidding there. It's not in the "vault" yet, and is £12.90 on Amazon.

Yeah if you check the seller feedback the guy with 17 feedbacks has given him a negative over payment dispute, so he's obviously bidding it up along with a 0 feedback user who is probably the same guy.

Lol, the Auction still had over an hour left to run, and the Seller has just ended it at £102.

Problem is, when you look at the fake buyer, its clear that he's done the same to other sellers, but that those sellers have not actually done anything about it. If they followed eBay's own procedures then they could get the guy's negatives removed from their accounts and get him banned, if he's done it with that many then they'd probably IP ban him. Sure, it's not impossible to get around, but the guy is clearly an idiot so would be good enough!

Then again, it is eBay and even in these tight times the site just encourages people to get carried away thinking 'if it's on eBay and it's expensive, it must be worth something'. Old mode of thinking but hell, PC World still survives too.

Regarding this fake buyer I notice that although he has received negative text these people at the same time have left a positive rating. A contradiction if ever there was one. Seems some people don't like to offend (complain).

No that's eBay's backward policy. Sellers cannot leave a buyer anything other than positive feedback. The problem is that when they were not paid, they should have followed the non-paying buyer procedure, which then stops the buyer leaving feedback or removes it, and they get their fees back. Instead they just mess around leaving stupid feedback!
