Should the PS3 recognize mobile phones? - Blu-ray Forum

yesterday i tried to see whether my ps3 will" find "my mobile as a blue tooth device . it took a long time and i canceled the operation .so... wouldn't u think a connection of some kind would be a nice feature on the ps3 ? what do u think ?

I tried it too when the PS3 first launched...nada. It would be cool to send camera phone pix to the PS3 via bluetooth though.

You could send it to your email if you really want it on your ps3. I just use my chocolate cell's memory stick though.

I know that, it would just be easier and FASTER if it was directly cell to PS3.

cell phone movies played through the ps3 would be nice . and maybe skyping ( sort of ) the cell through the ps3

Yeah I tried connecting my LG env to my PS3 via USB. I was hoping that I could download some music from my PS3 to my phone but the PS3 only sees it as an "unknown USB device."

Would be an interesting feature, don't know what I'd do with it though. It would be fun to have it included as a controller. Like you could get a call from the character in an RPG, that would help you through the game. I don't know, it would be fun though if they did something more interactive like that.

there is a lot to do with ps3 pairing with cellphones. one example is accessing internet through cellphone lines ( wi fi everywhere ). besides i would prefer my ps3 working with my cellphone than for example printers . and the exciting thing is that as a blue tooth / wi fi /usb device ( the ps3 ) it is theoretically possible to do that .

Imagine the new PS3 store via the iPhone (like iTunes). Music, photo streaming from any phone content via blueooth..... sweetness!
