Default transferring redeemed UVs?

I have read someone talk about transferring their redeemed UVs... is this possible? and if so, how? I don't mean for when they have duplicates (for which I found another thread), but single ones.

I have scoured the various sites for any clues, and just can't see any.

Any advice or thoughts would be much appreciated.

I don't believe it's possible to transfer a redeemed UV to another account. However, several people can share an Ultraviolet account and view each others movies.

Yeah, besides sometimes being able to transfer duplicate copies, there's currently no way to transfer a title from one account to another.

I think the OP is referring to the limited program that VUDU has half implemented for sharing of duplicate UV codes on an account, through Facebook. There is a thread about the program from a couple of months ago, but I've never personally used the feature. You could send a duplicate UV entry from one account to another person's account.

The OP specifically said that's not what's being asked about:

It appears the OP is talking about wanting to transfer any title from one account to another, which isn't an available option at this point.

Default Thank you

Thank you everyone for your responses.

I must have misunderstood people's posts in the digital "for sale" thread, as I had the impression they were transferring movies from their uv accounts.

Thanks for clarifying!

The program mentioned in a previous thread was out of date, now when you click the link all it does is sends the facebook vudu page to your friend, i think it might only work to send your duplicate titles to someone who does not yet have a vudu account.

secondly i heard there is a way to merge account, and delete accounts and the main person keep the titles... but i have not tried this and would not recommend doing so. I am sure if this is what you are talking about it will result in one day having your Vudu and / or UV account suspended.

You can easily merge accounts, without any ill effects. Just log into your UV account, and click on the Our Account tab. On that page, click on Account Settings. On the following page, click on Merge Two Accounts.

Once you have done this, the second account will be setup as a member of your UV group. All the movies will be imported into your shared library. If you like, you can delete the sub-member, and you will still have access to the movies.

I think the purpose of this is for those who accidentally created multiple accounts, or for people that create accounts without knowing that their immediate family members had already created one.
