The ones you have to watch out for are the ones they put out before the US releases, AFIK. Other wise they use the same discs as the US releases, at least in the ones I've seen.

Alliance releases are usually problemmatic when they release their own stuff, like the BDs that are exclusive to Canada. But lots of releases they just distribute and are exactly the same as the US releases. Lord of the Rings or No Country for Old Men for example, were distributed by Alliance in the Canada but they were exactly the same as the US releases.
