Okay, I know i'm not the only one who'd looooove to see this franchise on the blu-ray format. What are the chances we'll see it ?

I think the audio could be amazing on this one..... but the first one was decent, and one of my first DVD purchases, but I didn't care for the rest of them.

Hopefully these titles will come out eventually (Blade I and 2 are two of my favorite movies ever). It does appear that New Line is very slow to jump on the blu bandwagon (even though their parent company Warner has so many releases)

they may be slow but each of the few movies they have put out trumps any movie so far that WB has done. I say take your time New Line and give us top notch transfers so that we can continue to wonder why WB cant do the same with theres. Looking forward to Semi-pro and Golden Compass from them.

Also, on a side note, I hope we see a harold and kumar goes to white castle released along side the sequal and i cant wait for the announcement for be kind rewind, loved that movie

Blade I is somewhere in my top 10 for all genres. I still remember seeing it at the movies with my mom of all people. I also remember that it took ...FOREVER... to come to DVD after it had already came out on VHS back in 99'

Blade II went overboard with the Gore & CGI
Blade III cut out the CGI but the Story and Direction was off

Blade I........ priceless

Has to be one of the best opening scenes of an action flick ever.

This is my 2nd most wanted trilogy on BR. (3rd one sucked but that is OK)

The thing with New Line is that they really only have 3 "trilogies" IMO that could potentially do well on BR.

LOTR (obviously)
Blade
Austin Powers

I think they might be holding back for that reason. I fully expect 1 of those 3 trilogies to be available by Christmas this year. (I hope at least )

BTW one of my favorite movie quotes EVER was in Blade I.

"Some mother f*ckers are always tryin' to ice skate uphill"

Wow.... I don't want any of those trilogies, and would love Star Wars, Aliens, Indy Jones, Back to the Future, Godfather, and Nightmare on Elm Street are amongst the ones I'm eagerly awaiting.

I wonder how much the entire Nightmare series would cost though......

I want all of the "Ken Burns" PBS series on Blu, Like Civil War, Baseball, and Jazz in particular.... but the thought about how much it's going to set me back is scary

I think I'll create a new thread for these..... as I'm not sure what the distribution of PBS stuff looks like.

I can't make it through one LOTR or Harry Potter movie...... just bores me to death..... I'm sure they're good and all, enough people seem to love them.

I'd buy the first Blade though.

When LOTR first came out I thought they where amazing...Saw 2 times for each in the theater double dipped and bought regular and Special Editions....but then I popped one in again recently and I couldn't watch it...I just couldn't sit through the entire thing...

Now Blade 1,2 ....different story could watch once a week.

I cant wait to get blade 1 and 2 on blu ray, even though the first movie was filmed about 10 years ago it still looks modern.
