Post "Little Miss Sunshine" ?

I hope that Fox is thinking about releasing "Little Miss Sunshine" on Blu-ray sometime soon. I checked it out on Cinemax the other day, and I really liked what I saw! The movie has its moments. Abigail Breslin certainly wowed me in the role of Olive, while Greg Kinnear, Toni Collette, Steve Carell, Alan Arkin, and Paul Dano also gave great performances as a flawed, yet loving -- albeit dysfunctional -- family. And I would love to see that "Super Freak" performance again, this time in full 1080p! So please Fox, please hurry up and release this comic gem on Blu-ray A.S.A.P.!

I'd definitely buy it but not for $28. Get a clue Fox.

One of my favorites from 2006! I'd buy it on Blu! Just as long as they fix out the stupid menus because getting the features sucked.

I didn't think it was as funny as all the hype surrounding it. I really wanted to love it but I'm glad I only rented it.

I think that was your mistake, if you want to call it that, that you had high expectations for it and therefore fell short, i din't know what to expect and thought it was funny in its own ways....but again, to each his own...

Agreed. I kept wanting it to be something, and it just never was. Also was not a fan of the end.

The worst part though IMO was:

How the hell does a kid that age NOT know he is colorblind?

Same here. And the colorblind issue... crazy! I thought the same thing!

I only watched this because one of my classes required it. I gave it a 3/5 as a film. DEFINITELY over-rated, but the "academy" loves these artsy-type films, so my expectations weren't high to begin with.
