What about Capote with Phillip Seymour Hoffman? I think this would qualify. He was an eccentric individual who was openly gay.

Even the recent BD release ELTON at 60 should be on the list. He too is open about his lifestyle.

I was serious with my "Strangers on a Train", by Alfred Hitchcock. It's the first movie of all time that I can think of that even comes close to showing a homosexual character. Hitchcock has had alot of firsts in cinema and I think he can have the credit for being the first to broach the homosexual subject in film.

Sure. Any movies, charaters on the subject whether as a side line or up-front homosexual story line. Another interesting thing would be to add well known actors/actresses/entertainers that are homosexual or Bi.

Some people may be surprised.
