Default BD needs your help!!!

I'm posting this in numerous threads in case some of you have not seen it....
Tomorrow is a buy-a-thon spanding many BD related forums to put down the uprising of a joke that is HD DVD. There is no reason why a forum strictly dedicated to BD(thats us) can't come close to the numbers some of these other forums are bringing in.

Remeber... April 21st(tomorrow), it must be from Amazon and preorders are welcomed!!
This is a good excuse to order some of those upcoming big movies, or get that one you weren't so sure you should get.

is this buyathon only from amazon? i'm still ripping off buy.com with google checkout. its a pretty sweet deal. but I may be able to pay full price for 1 BD at amazon if that's the site we're concentrating on.

I just want to fit in and be cool.

I'll go throw my change bucket into a Coinstar tomorrow and get an Amazon GC. Hopefully will have enough to spend on a few BRDs

Sorry, I don't purchase online - anything.

I *AM* going to BestBuy tomorrow and picking up at least one new BD movie though.

That's the best I can contribute.

For what it's worth, Blu Ray is up on the daily charts.

No Credit Card...
No chances of anyone getting my data... none to get.

$24.99 is doable for a BD.

Blu-ray is the best thing to happen to Home Entertainment!

GO Sony!

The price difference is not as drastic as you think. The titles that are usually $19.95 on Amazon. I get them at Fry's Electronics for $19.99 + tax. I just think of the tax as a shipping charge. I don't buy from Amazon unless I don't care about getting the title right away. When I buy from Amazon, I don't pay for S&H. That means it takes forever to get the titles. By going to B&M stores (not including Best Buy) I may end up paying $2 to $3 more than Amazon (and I get them immediately).

I see prices around here sometimes double what amazon has....I haven't gone to Fry's website yet...but I'll check them out...

I do pretty good with Wal-mart. The only problem is that they don't get a lot of copies in on release day, so you have to get there early on Tuesdays and hope that they didn't put the stock out earlier than they were supposed to, which they do alot on older catalog titles. I picked up King Arthur there for $19.99, and since we don't have sales tax here in Alaska, it's actually better than Amazon as I get it immediately
