That's outrageous.
Was going to blind buy this, but not at that price. Online retailers have been really taking the piss recently with the prices of their new releases.

It won't stay at that price. More than likely that is the RRP and the sale price will be £20.50.

This was ok, but there are certainly better films. I'll wait for a drop in price.

Pre-ordered the 3D copy, should I pre-order the 2D one too just incase? I could do, then cancel whichever one has worse art? This is assuming the steelbook will be overpriced of course, much like Into Darkness is. I hope they have the sense to drop the price of these steelbooks.

I don't really want the 3D version so I'll wait and see if there's going to be a 2D steelbook first. Loved the film.

I'll be getting the 2D standard version unless they do a 2D steelbook.

I have the 3D one pre-ordered as well as the 2D, but only because it was £1.25 more and might have nicer artwork. I will cancel whichever has worse artwork, or both if there's an exclusive elsewhere or an Amazon steelbook (there is one listed I see). I hope there is a 2D steelbook much like Into Darkness, as I'd prefer the option. Both films have been exceptional 3D in the cinema (Into Darkness especially) but my TV isn't a cinema

Amazon have updated the Pacific Rim Blu-Rays.

Looks like...

The old 3D cover is now the regular 2D release... the 3D/2D is a lenticular & teh Steelbook has a different piece of artwork.

Think I'll go with the 3D/2D Lenticular myself
