Interesting to see the cover is another image different to the UK cinema poster. The image on the postcard put in recent titles is different again, and yet another design (the US cinema poster) was used on the Warner Home Video release.

Really hoping all the extras from the Special Edition Region A are carried over, hopefully with the commentary, which was only on the US DVD.

Release of the year, in my opinion. My Italian 2 DVD release may well end up on the Bay of E.

How is it a winner when we know nothing about the transfer yet?

Arrow seem to have sorted their act out with transfers this year - as far as I can think there's not been one disappointment so far. So I'd be stunned if they dropped the ball on such a big title as this one.

I certainly hope it is a good transfer as it is one of my favorite films, I expect the extras will be top notch, an interview with Sutherland would be great, maybe some of the rest of the cast?

I hope that if Body Snatchers '78 is coming out as a steelbook that they don't use that art.

I agree, makes it looks like a 1950s B movie which ironically the original was

Theatrical poster art would be nice though:

I wonder if they'll do their own transfer or will get one supplied to them by MGM? Because the US Blu-ray is lovely.

No love for Big Trouble In Little China from that ad??? Or has everyone been fed up of waiting this long and just ordered the US one?

I'm excited about it but will wait and see what the double cover is. The US release is pretty cheap at the moment.

FWIW, I think they used the MGM transfer for their recent edition of 'Dressed To Kill', so they seem to be establishing a relationship of sorts with MGM. Makes me wonder what other MGM classic titles might be in the Arrow pipeline for 2014. Maybe things like 'Thieves Like Us', 'In The Heat Of The Night', 'The Private Life Of Sherlock Holmes' (to name just three MGM titles on my wants list). Well, I can dream can't I?

One of my all time favourites. Use of the MGM transfer will get no complaints from me - as Geoff said, it's lovely. Hopefully, Arrow will dig up/create some obscure extras.
