Question PS Plus & Vita Question

I just renewed my PS Plus for another year (ending August 2014), yet my "instant game collection" games that I downloaded from the PS store still say they expire in 10 days. I don't want to lose the games and have to re-download. Or worse yet, lose all my saved progress.

Does anybody know how to fix this issue?

TIA

You'll be fine. Just load them up and quit, then you'll see the new time left.

Hmmm, I tried that last night with Megaman, and still got the same expiration date.

I'll try again tonight...

You are worrying for the sake of worrying. Wait until the 10 days are up and see what happens. Chances are the games will then reassess their authorization status and see that your PS+ account is still active. Don't worry about something that hasn't happened yet.

When my PSN+ subscription ended because I forgot to update my credit card details all the stuff I'd downloaded said expired. I just had to start the game and the expiry date updated to the new end date for my PSN+ subscription.

Starting the game will not change what the expiration date shows, the only way to show the true expiration date is to reinstall the game. (all new downloaded stuff will show the correct expiration date) This drove me crazy when I extended my PS plus before it expired and all my games still showed my original expiration date. The games will also update to the new expiration date when run the first time after the original expiration date has expired. This is a stupid bug in the psn that can and should be easily fixed by a firmware update. Up until now I thought I was the only one that noticed and was bothered by this.

Thank u for clarifying the problem, Aikon and Chris. It would seem to be an easy fix on Sony's part.

jgold, I think u just hit on the game's icon, and it shows the expiration date.
