Yammy v663 or the Pioneer VSX-1018TXH-K

I am looking to get new receiver and was thinking about the getting the yammy v663, but then I send the new pioneer vsx-1018txh-k.

Not sure if this is a better buy, but it says that their well be 4 hdmi ports, plus it can decode all the new codecs. Now leaning towards the pioneer as I do like the design of their recievers and I can wait for this one. It is listed for about $100 more.

I'm going through that right now. It's between the Rx-V663 and the Rx-V1800. The 1800 seems do be lacking a dts-neo-whositz codec and the V663 doesn't have all the HDMI ports, but it does have that new stage thing which will probably making switching easier. I don't know, but I'm going witht he 1800.

I have a policy about all my gear and I MUST be able to defend my home with it if need be. Yamaha Receivers are built like tanks and you can EASILY kill someone with one and still use it. I fully endorse Yamaha.
