How could they not include the "Paul, say something stupid" segment?

I understand recent DVD/Blu-ray covers have been idiotic, but SPOILER ALERT @ that artwork, WWE! Jeez! Not everyone was able to order the PPV, or are living under a rock, but wouldn't it be better to show a snapshot of Bryan doing the "Yes" pose on the way to the ring? Or Bryan doing the running knee on Cena? You know, something that doesn't give away not only WWE Title match #1, but WWE Title match #2?!!

Anyway, a very solid PPV that is close to the quality of MITB 2011. Lesnar/Punk stole that show, with Cena/Bryan a very close 2nd. Even Sandow/Rhodes, Christian/Del Rio, and to a lesser extent, Kane/Wyatt provided solid matches to ensure the best SummerSlam of recent years. Hopefully Best Buy will still have copies by October so I can take advantage of the U&S then.

Well everybody should already know by then who fricking won the matches. It'll be like a month since they aired it. Just saying.

That's pretty naive. Anyone who has interest in this product would have to live in a hermetically sealed box to not know how things went down. The purpose of the cover is to sell and that imagery could prove iconic down the road.

There are some fans out there who purposely stay away from WWE programming due to the "stale" storylines/PG era, so for those being re-introduced to the product, or for those who say "Hey, isn't John Cena defending the belt against Daniel Bryan? What's Orton doing there? And why is HHH raising both of his hands in pride instead of just raising Orton's hand in victory?", they don't have to be confused or in this case, spoiled before they even get to watch an epic main event.

I most definitely watched the PPV more than once, but that doesn't mean everyone else did. Has WWE ruined their WM artwork before? No. And the recent individual Walmart DVDs don't count, as those are YEARS after they aired.

If the person you described exists then the artwork would only intrigue and not dissuade. Using boring poster art wouldn't do anything. I would guesstimate 99% of the people buying this disc would know what happens. WWE has sort of been doing this for a while and would want to market their product in the best way possible. This does that.

Whatever the case, WWE missed out on a great opportunity to showcase their greatest babyface (the one who doesn't get booed ) celebrating his lifelong dream, albeit for maybe 3 minutes.

I guess that cover art will be saved for a future PPV DVD....

BTW, the Orton/HHH photo IS epic, there's no doubt about that.

I always collect the major four PPV shows so glad to see this will be on Blu Ray. Definite pick up even though I didn't watch it. Bryan/Cena seems like a must see though.

Too bad they didn't have the full Daniel Bryan gauntlet he did on a Raw show as special feature.

I wonder why the special features are mostly randome matches on RAW/SD! before SummerSlam, but they didnt include Orton's Coronation which is more important and connected to SummerSlam(and even the cover art).

That will probably be included on The Best Of Raw 2013.

Really it was a 2 match show Mania had 4 or 5 great matches. I just don't get it. the first 2 hours of this show were garbage. I bet if Dolph woulda cashed in at WrestleMania it woulda been better than Hogan/Andre!
