Default HDTV help..

Well my family wants to upgrade there family room TV to HD... and I read all the specifications and such and have no idea whats better then what.... Could anyone tell me if either of these sound good?

Well if money isn't an issue (I'm guessing the second tv is more) then I would get the second linked tv...1080p and 120Hz...but if your family isn't going to have a Blu-ray player then the 1080p isn't worth the extra $$$$$

Those look like the Mitsubishi DLP's. I have the 73" Mit DLP and it is awesome. You might want to check out Amazon.com. They have a great deal on the 65"

You may want to think about an LCD or Plasma...average DLP lamp can last ~8,000 hours.

Whereas LCD or Plasma ~60,000 hrs


just a thought.

Thanks guys. I got the second one!! Only messsed up thing is... when I use my first HDMI port with my PS3 it messes up. I turn it on and it works fine..then I pop in a Blu Ray movie and it works fine..once I turn off the movie.. my TV makes popping noises and my screen goes black
