Yep. According to their policies, they have up to 48 hours following the end of release day to issue a refund for the difference. So, if they haven't issued it by Friday, that's when it's time to contact them.

They can CG a lot of the sets like they did to good effect with BSG: Blood & Chrome. Yeah, it won't look as good but at least we'll have our show back.

And you know I strongly disagree with you about Abrams.

Amazon automatically sent me a refund for the price difference today. Now that's what I've come to expect from Amazon, and my faith has been restored. Like many others, I assumed I was SOL when the price dropped after midnight on release day.

The new special features are nothing short of excellent. The three part doc is quite informative and candid, and the cast reunion was so much fun. I agree with others that the volume on the reunion seemed to be all over the place. It's a little strange that Connor left after only a half-hour, but it was great to have Combs in on the discussion. Jolene was quieter than I thought she'd be, especially when recalling her appearance on the Howard Stern show back in the day. Plus I remember her being quite vocal with her disappointment in the finale ("Appalling," I believe she called it).

Waiting for my UK import to arrive. The Amazon.co.uk product images don't show a certificate down in the corner... are the photos wrong or is it really gone from this season (or maybe a removable sticker)???

Figured I'd ask in the North America thread instead of the UK thread because they tend to get offended when you hint at any sort of distaste for their certificates...

Mine has arrived from the UK (that was fast!) and to answer my own question, yes, the certificate is there on the spine and cover.

Now what I would like to know is why the back lists "bleeped strong language". Bleeped?

Got mine from the U.K. today. I'm watching it currently on Netflix but I will definitely be watching some of the special features on this one, including the cast reunion. Each time I watch this series I enjoy it more than I did before. It's a grower, that's for sure.

Is Star Trek enterprise any good? I've watched Star Trek the next generation which I really like, I've still haven't seen Star Trek original series or the other shows.

I think so. It's very different from the typical Star Trek format, and the show takes a bit to find its legs in the first year, but the cast gels quickly and they tell some interesting stories. Seasons 2-4 are the best, and it was killed well before its time.

I like TNG best but Enterprise and TOS are tied for second for me. The first 1-2 years are a little rough but I think the last 2 years were really solid and it had some very cool episodes like "In a Mirror Darkly". you just need to stick with it and not abandon it after season 1.

watched the documentaries on it. man do they bash season 2. it is awesome.

Like others have said, the first couple years are a little rough, but the last two are very good. You'll definitely appreciate it more if you watch The Original Series first though.

we'll rent that arena from Amok Time from Spock's family sometime and settle the JJ debate like men but not for atleast a year - have to wait until all the seasons of TNG are out on bluray

I suppose they could to the cgi thing but I still think things like the bridge would need to be mostly real and that would cost a bit. plus they would need to spend some cash to make the cgi look good and that might create a budget problem. cgi is tricky - look at some of the fan films that are made and the effects. even "Of Men and Gods" has pretty bad cgi. but it is something they could do. I think the studio is a big problem too. they didn't want someone else making season 5 back when the show was on the air and even though times have changed, I don't know if they would want that to happen now. plus they seem pretty happy with just having the movies right now. but who knows, stranger things have happened.

No, rent the arena from "The Gamesters of Triskelion". That way everyone else can bet a few quatloos

good idea. I bet they have ac and I hate the heat anyways so that would make a better spot. can I just ask that McCoy not be the fight doctor - he doesn't have the greatest track record saving people.

even if they have shipped it and the price drops, ask anyways. if it was just shipped and there is no way you would have it yet, they will usually match the price. got their exclusive tricorder for 77% off that way instead of 75% off (didn't ask them for the 2% back, just wanted to know what their procedure was in cases like this and they gave me my 2% back. really, I won't complain over less than $2).

As others said, it is a bit slow to build, but the irony is that it might have one of the best opening episodes of any Trek series. After that it just takes a bit of time to get going, but the crew chemistry is good and the quality of shows starts to get consistently better throughout the series. The third season of Enterprise is, in my opinion, as good as ANY other trek series season, but others may disagree.
