Kane and Lynch, Crossfire announced for PS3 - Blu-ray Forum

SCi Entertainment has announced that previous Xbox 360 and PC exclusives are now also heading to PlayStation 3.

Kane & Lynch from Hitman developer IO Interactive, along with Pivotal Games' Crossfire will now be released simultaneously for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Both titles had been lined-up for release only on PC and Xbox 360 during the company's 2007 financial year, but will now arrive in the 2008 financial year simultaneously with the PlayStation 3 versions.

"The Board believes that a release of these products simultaneously on all three platforms (PS3, Xbox 360 and PC) including the two next generation platforms will benefit the long term revenue potential for these two strong franchises rather than releasing different versions at different times," the company said in a statement released today.

Kane & Lynch will be released in time for Christmas, while Crossfire will be released early in 2008. Both PlayStation 3 versions are said to be in "advanced stages of development".

And here I thought that this was an announcement about Joe Kane and David Lynch sitting in the Crossfire news program discussing the merits of the PS3

If the PS3 game listings at http://www.esrb.org/ are anything to go by, an already release Eidos/IO game Hitman: Blood Money should also be coming to PS3.

I have very high hopes for this game since its coming from most of the Hitman producers. That fact alone is almost enough to sell it to me, but everything I've read on this so far has it sounding like a killer title.

dude, just checked out the K&L trailer @ amazon - the raw game footage w/commentary - HOLY &^%*(! the scene looked like a do-it-yourself Bank Heist from the movie Heat. F*&^in sweet.

The only other thing I would want is a monkey driving the getaway car.

"WHERE'S THE VAN? brrttt........brrrrrrrrrrrttttt.. GET TO THE VAN!" (for you Dane Cook fans out there, of which I am not. But his bit about fighting monkeys and being part of a heist is pretty funny.

Seems you can write ur boddies, online, while ingame, but anyone else having problems connecting to hosts? if im lucky enought o join, ill auto disconnect within 15 secs wtf??
