Default City of Industry

This needs a Blu-ray release really bad! Anyone else agree?

SYNOPSIS: In the "business" of armed robbery, Roy Egan (Harvey Keitel) is a master who's ready to retire. However, when his brother Lee (Timothy Hutton) proposes one last job - a slam-dunk, three-million-dollar diamond heist with his two friends (Stephen Dorff and Wade Dominguez) - Roy can't resist coming out of retirement to cash in on a sure thing. But when one of the "friends" gets greedy and pulls a deadly double-cross, the stage is set for a pulse-pounding game of cat and mouse as Roy relentlessly tracks him down, hell-bent on revenge.

Would definitely like to see City of Industry on Blu; great & underrated crime thriller, with a lot of twists & turns. I would actually consider this a pseudo neo-noir...Also enjoyed the techno/trance soundtrack, and the book-ended scenery of the highway & b&w cinematography....This would especially look good on Blu since IIRC the DVD is non-anamorphic....

Watched this on Blu the other night and was pleasantly surprised. It has a bad review here, but I thought the transfer was nice-looking, a huge step up from the DVD. This is kind of a lost noir film, along the same lines as other Post Tarantino crime films, like Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. This could easily be paired as a double feature with that...

Had no idea City of Industry was released to Blu ray. I just looked, and it came out in October 2017. Wow. Good to know about this.

So, this thread needs to be moved from the "Wish List" section to the main forum on this site.
