deep discount dvd have it for $68.95 inc s&h pay more if you need it sooner, thats the best i can come up with or just wait, sorry!

I had a hard time finding it today too. Ended up being able to get it at my local BestBuy for $89.99 CAD. It was the only store in the city that had it available.

I preordered it on Amazon over a month ago... it better be here within the next couple days.

Until then I should do as much non-TV watching as possible. I tried to not watch PE on Animal Planet HD b\c the BD will arrive soon.. but damn.. so awesome! The Caves part sucked me in!

I figure I'll watch the entire thing in two days. Extremely hard to stop watching..

wow you could have had another Blu-ray for that, well maybe its worth it, i just hope ships within 5-10 days is quick as i cant wait

$89.99 in Canadian Dollars (CAD)... It's not as cheap as the US, but well worth it overall.

ah thats good then! funny how every movie that is out to day is in frys and best buy but no planet earth, the only format they have it on is dvd. I was doing some window shopping earlier!

I checked 4 different locations in the GTA (Best Buy and Future Shops)...nothing.

I asked at one store and they had something like 43 copies ordered but they were not delivered yet.

At the last location I asked the guy to check his warehouse - not there either - seems to be delayed for some reason....

I don't think it's delayed, just limited production. You know there are a surprising amount of people that want this on Blu-ray. I was lucky to get 1 of 4 copies at my local BestBuy this morning. It was the only store in the city that had it available.

Not enough copies to satisfy the demand. We all know how this goes... (PS3 launch...) etc.

however, the HD DVD version is in stock.

Nowhere to be found in the GTA!!! That's Greater Toronto Area. HMV has one each in British Colombia and Edmonton. But nowhere in Toronto!!! WTF!?!?

My source only got two, one for me and one for him last week. The HD DVD version arrived earlier and was abundant. Heh.

I spotted a Blu-Ray edition at a Wal-Mart in Welland, Ontario (Canada). At Best Buy, Future Shop, one Wal-Mart in St. Catharines all had nothing. Though they did have a lot of copies on HD-DVD. Go figure.

I already have mine on order from Best Buy, hope it'll be here tomorrow. Hopefully!

Oprah was promoting it recently..and I hear they may have seriously underestimated demand...maybe even for DVD. Every format was out of stock in the GTA that I checked - except HD-DVD - which were sitting there collecting dust.

Also Canadians would be put to the end of the queue for allocations. IOW some of our stock may have been re-routed to fill the demand in the U.S.
