Day 1 buy for me.

I'm so glad I didn't buy the other films cause of their bare bones Blu-rays and I knew a box set would have to be released eventually.

Now I'm really straining myself to not buy the Hunger Games films until a box set comes out sometime in (probably) 2016.

I'm doing the same thing. I got the first movie already, but I think I'll just watch CF, MJ 1+2 in theaters and wait for a box set. It'll probably be a nice set with an embossed Mockingjay pendant in the center.

Okay, I must have missed something: Why are they selling the DVDs for extra? More discs?

Canada Day 1 Buy For Me

I am SO happy I stuck it out and didn't buy any of the previous releases. This set seems loaded And when you consider the Blu Ray also comes with digital download of the films - the price is really reasonable. I love Twilight and I'm proud yo be add it to my movie collection. If people make fun of me for it, that's their issues, not mine

I know the Twilight Saga takes a lot of flack, but I think that's unfortunate, I enjoyed the books and the movies. For me, the series has always been about mixing fantasy (all the vampire/wolf lore with the honesty of a love story within it) To me, that's what has drawn people to the books and movies and why the franchise became so successful. I understand why people are sick of Twilight and why it gets made fun of, but to me it was never supposed to be "Oscar" level. It's just a simple Romeo & Juliet type story with some fun humor and visual effects. It has a lot of the elements of what the magic of movie making is about. Then again, I love movies, and I find it fun to allow myself to get lost for a time in worlds that aren't real. And even though movies are much about fantasy, there are always themes such as love that apply in life outside of the fantasy of it all.

I have pre-ordered on amazon USA as it isn't listed in Canada yet. Anyone have any idea when it will be listed on amazon.ca? I'd like to save myself the shipping and import fees.

Canada Question Re Digital Copies

OK, so I was able to pre-order my Forever Twilight set at the Canadian amazon to save myself the import fees, but I have a question about the digital copies. I really want the digital for my Apple TV. Here's the thing though. I recently bought a blu ray of a different film with a digital copy included. I like Blu ray quality. This was NOT a DVD combo and I have a Mac Book Pro.

The instructions to redeem this movie's digital copy said I had to insert it into my computer, open itunes and redeem using the code provided. Rather big glitch though, Macbook DVD drives won't read blu ray discs, therefore, when I insert it into my computer, and open itunes nothing happens - no redeem window, no access to my digital copy. After a few hours of reading and an apple support call, I discover that some digital copies can only be redeemed by inserting the disc, while others work fine simply by inserting the code provided via a third party website. After talking to apple they basically said with this other movie to get my digital download I'd have to buy an external drive that reads blu rays just to get access and open the right info on the disc. Are you kidding me? LOL Doesn't seem right to have to buy a whole other drive just to get a digital version of a movie I already paid for.

I've bought other blu rays with digital copy before but never had to use the disc itself to redeem.

So now I'm wondering how they will handle this for The Twilight Forever Box. I REALLY hope the company makes it easier than than above example. I will be really sad if I can't access the digital copy because they put it on the Blu Ray disc instead of making the process simple through a website.

If anyone finds any info about this, in relation to the Twilight set, I'd be grateful if you would post it please,

Thank you!!

I saw part of the first Twlight on ABC Family about a month ago I guess it was and wasn't too impressed with it. I've heard that the other films were suppose to better but I haven't seen them.

The original releases were in no way barebones. Every film had commentaries, deleted/extended scenes, featurettes and/or documentaries...

Of the 12 hours of bonus features on Twilight Forever, only 2 hours of that material is new.

The other films are tons better.

I was like you, when I first watched Twilight, I thought "this is what people have been raving about?!" But then I gave New Moon a chance and I've been hooked ever since. Not sure if it's the bad directing or the storyline, but the first film still remains as my least favorite.

I've never seen a Digital Copy disk that wasn't on a DVD. Did you try redeeming the code without the disk?

Especially because it collects all the retailer exclusive features in one package.

New Moon remains the worst in the series of films and books.
