Why come you got no tattoo?

Great movie......and would love to have this on blu. It's aired several times over the air in HD and so at least there's something to work with already.

I'm shocked with this films cult following that it hasn't been released. I liked the premise more than the execution but I would still like to see this come out at some point in the near future.

There are so many small details in the film that a blu ray would make easier to spot. Fox was so unsupportive of the film that they wouldn't pay for the effects work to be finished, Robert Rodriguez had his studio do them for free. Its a pity that a comedy that's brave enough to actually be about something more than jackasses getting drunk is viewed as toxic by a studio but its built a strong following thanks to DVD and the internet. The few deleted scenes that are the DVD's paltry extras are good too.

I've watched this again since the last time I posted in the thread, and it still makes anxious afterwards. Especially watching the news and listening to people who have no idea what they're talking about try to convince us they do.

I'm horrible with sentence structure and I constantly misuse and misspell words, but these people on the news are respected and supposed to be professional, so when someone like me catches a mistake I can't help but laugh. It's a very odd thing to hear someone ask a question of the president only to have a response that's not even close to an answer, even stranger still is the fact that no one ever calls them on it.

I was watching interviews from the 60s of random people on the streets and their responses were extremely articulate, even those I didn't agree with I could still empathize with. Compared to your avg. person giving an interview today: 'Like, umm..yaknow..err'

Yikes! What the heck happened to the American intellect? </minirant >

Idiocracy has been mentioned in so many major newspapers and magazines this year, that surely it must be headed to BluRay now?

Only a few hours left on iTunes' $4.99 sale on the download - but I'd rather buy it on Blu and I'd hate to pay for it twice.

Anyone heard anything?

Love this movie and it's sad there still isn't a blu, This would be a great listen for a commentary track as well.
