Default What do I need? Good setup, speakers etc. Will this make a good set up?

Ok while i can be a fast learner when it comes to most things eletronics I haven't really ever considered owning a sound system. But recently I have purchased a Onkyo TX-SR605 7.1 reciever.
I will be moving into a new house really really soon, so as i'm building my new room I want the first thing i put in there is to set up a sound system, because I think it'll be the hardest thing to put in the new room. I'm not really sure where to look for the info I need.

So as for the speakers I am now thinking I will get these

I'm going to guess that speakers dont' tend to come with the proper cables? So then I will probably go with the monster cables
http://www.jr.com/JRProductPage.process?Product=10500
would this be enough to fill a 12x11 room?

now I don't understand these banana plugs too much how many sets should i get?

Lastly I believe i will get two pair of these for front and back of the room.

So all this considered will i have a good set up? Or are there other things i need to add? When it comes to installing i'm sure I'll have no problem with that, but basically just asking for everything I need.

You have a lot of questions to answer but I will start with this..

DON"T BUY THE MONSTER CABLES.. get your speaker wire from www.monoprice.com Quality wire and ALOT cheaper..

unless for "convenience" I don't see the point of you getting banana plugs.
