Default Panasonic BDT500 showing " no disc " when turning off. Problem ?

Hello everyone,

I am the happy owner of the BDT500 bluray player since a couple of weeks. But whenever i turn it off the screen shows " no disc... Please wait... Bye ". With a long bip if i use the player button.

Now i didn't pay much attention before, but i'm pretty sure the "no disc" message didn't appear when i turned it off before.

Do you guys player's show the same thing ?

If not why do i have this message ? I have tried the factory settings but it doesn´t change anything. I feel like

Also when i start it up it shows "read... no disc... home " What about that ?

Thanks a lot, I'm a bit worried

Unhappy "No disc" plus a question regarding my BDT500 player audio.

Hi,

No "no disc" message like that on my player.

Could you help me with my problem?
Question: My new BDT500 audio cuts out for about one second or so
many times during movies, all else seems to work fine. Have You, or anyone else reading this post, experienced this. Unless your playing close attention to the movie you might not notice the short audio pauses. Thanks!!!!!!

Many Thanks,
3D Dick
