Does this set have the identical content to the Batman Anthology set?

Apparently there are two different Batman(1989) blu-ray discs. At least of what I'm aware of. One of the discs is of course with the artwork label with the Joker, Batman, Bat mobile, and Vickie Vale. And the other disc is a disc with the name Batman in black bold letters and the blu-ray and Warner Bros. logo.
![]() I went to Best Buy yesterday to pick up the 4 Film Batman Collection on blu-ray. Believing that i was going to get the Batman(1989) blu-ray disc with the artwork of the characters, i ended up getting the not so attractive bland disc instead. Is there a reason as to why there are two different blu-ray discs? Was the first disc replaced? As I mentioned before I will post a picture of this disc as soon as i can. I am ok about the blu-ray disc, just confused as to why there has been a disc change to this particular movie. ![]() ralgonzo26 Blu-Ray Fan ![]() |

I'm gonna sound like a broken record here as I've already criticised the bonus disc that comes with the Nolan trilogy, but the one for Burton's Batman is possibly worse. It's just a twenty-minute featurette that downplays the quality of the film and insinuates that it's only of note because of its marketing. There are some rare photos edited in but beyond that, it's a disappointing watch. A couple of vintage making-ofs were supposedly going to be included alongside it, but they were dropped without explanation.

Own 4 copies of Batman 1989 on blu.
Upper Left: Anthology Box Set Upper Right: Steelbook and 20th Anniversary Digibook Bottom: 25th Anniversary Diamond Luxe. To my knowledge all these discs contents are identical. ![]() Last edited by megafan2000; 01-02-2017 at 04:49 AM. |

You know, looking at the discs, I've never understood why they just quit using the Batman font/logo from the 1989 movie posters and VHS art for that boring, generic lettering
![]() That's what I think of when Batman '89 comes up. |
