This is out now in the US and Amazon have had the pre order up for a month now but still no release date. Announce it already!!

hope this will be identical to the US release UNCUT and same extras or maybe more extras would be even sweeter

It's Universal, it's somewhat likely to be the exact same disc.

Unless the show is messed up to the point of breaking the law or potentially causing harm it will be uncut. Giving it's TV-14 rating in the US I can't see it doing this.

More extras? Universal? As if...

Its practically bare bones which disappoints me.
Only thing on it are deleted scenes (two I heard) and one making of feature which is likely to be 15 - 20 mins long.

i heard the paley fest is on as well at least on the US release it is

How would anyone know there is a making of on the UK release is there a Press release out for it ?

But the US release is region free i think so thats awesome if we have to wait ages for it here

I'm sorry, I appear to be confused. You seemed unsure about the Paley Fest session being on the US blu ray. So I was confirming that the PF session IS on the US bluray.

I know nothing of any making of, or a press release. There's not even an entry on the BVA database...

Disappointed when I saw what extras would be on the US Blu-ray set of Bates Motel's first season. Was hoping that because the UK set will be released after the US Blu-ray set, that that could mean more extras on the UK Blu-ray set. Surprised really, because of the TV series being related to the original Psycho film. Would liked to have seen a featurette about the construction of the Bates house and motel sets.

Amazon updated release date....February 2014!!!!
This came out on blu few weeks ago in the US. We have to wait 4 months later!
This is getting ridiculous now!
I want to get the US set now but its a bit too expensive to import so will wait for Black Friday sales.

Just ordered from Amazon US. £23 shipped.
£3 more then UK but will get it by next week instead of next year!

Arrived this morning

was a little disappointed it came with no slip

extra deleted scenes
paley center panel discussion with the cast and creative team
bonus run time about 23mins

US = approx 7hr14min
UK = approx 6hr56min

The UK BD is rated '18' for 'sexual violence, strong bloody violence, and sex references'. I expected it to be a '15' based on what I saw on TV. Are these 'uncut' episodes or something? I'm sure in the US the show was rated '14' by the network. The BBFC list all the episodes together so there's no way of knowing which one(s) got the '18'. I can only guess it was the first episode, because it had the

We got some in at HMV the other day yeah. Should be on the shelf. Can't remember how many copies though...could be limited supplies to start with.
