1. Taiwan with the mug - In terms of complete package and for the awesome slip - Priced at $35 + shipping

2. Italy - Cheapest amongst the lot at least for EU / UK members as it is now 25 EUR + shipping

My favorite for over-all package is the Taiwan version. Killer slip + 3D.

My collection:

Taiwan, Korean A-type (wrapped backwards, normal retail release), Korean B-type (re-wrapped correctly specially at buyer's request), French Auchan numbered, Zavvi, Spain (one I opened )

Waiting for the cheap German release but not expecting much from it.

The thing is that I saw this movie in 3D in the cinemas, and, as far as I recall, nothing in it was "enhanced" for 3D. The 2D-to-3D upconversion did nothing, besides forcing you to wear glasses if you are not already wearing glasses.

I second this - slip sets the steel off perfectly.

though depends on what content and artwork you want - German has unique front artwork, where as all other versions are of the arc reactor. Then decide if you want 3D included or not as UK is 2D only, but Italy and most Asian versions include the 3D

Only scene that benefitted from 3D that I saw in theaters was the part when they fell out of the plane. The rest didn't even look like 3D.

The Taiwanese edition with the killer slip. If you're not intending to open it then the Korean release with the reversed cover would be good too.
