Haven't seen the flick, but from what all the reviews say it has one of the worst PQ available.

Great flick, I'm a big Pierce Brosnan fan though. If The Thomas Crown Affair ever comes to Blu, sign me up. I haven't seen the Blu, I own the DVD.

Yeah I'm also a big Brosnan fan so I'm excited about watching this. I haven't seen The Thomas Crown Affair in a while. Great flick though. It would definitely be a release week purchase for me on Blu..

I loved The Matador, Bond, and After The Sunset as well. Thomas Crown is my favorite Pierce though. Enjoy your flick!

Does anyone know why the back of the blu-ray case states the running time of the movie as 114 minutes? I know the dvd only ran about 110 minutes, and as far as I'm aware there is no extended version. Is this just a typo error on Sony's part, or is this actually a longer/different version of the movie than what was on the dvd?

I've only seen the DVD, so can't speak for the PQ, but it's a great movie. (From John LeCarre's own production company, that also gave us the movies of "The Russia House" and "The Constant Gardener".)

A pre-Pirates Geoffrey Rush and a very un-007 Pierce Brosnan (and a pre-Potter Daniel Radcliffe) in a Spy-who-cried-wolf story set in post-Noriega Panama.
And okay, so it's today's Random Thread Bump From 2008, but rent it anyway!
