CE3K Question - Blu-ray Forum

Is this in a standard blu-ray case in Europe? I don't like the case for the U.S. version.

U.K / AUS = Thick Case
Dutch / German / France = Normal Case

Mine is in a boxed set... probably the same as the USA.

I like it... having a nice box is rather reminiscent of the quality sleeve there used to be on a LaserDisc or an LP. I was never really a great fan of DVD style casing.

I love welldone special edition cases... but some people just well like uniformity, which I totally understand.

Yes, I understand that. However I like cases to be different... that way when I'm looking for a title I can remember if it came in a thick case, a thin case or a boxed set. So then it's just a matter of scanning the shelf for a case the shape and design I remember.

Most of the time my BDs are stored in a gravity based filing system... the ones that I watched longest ago are at the bottom of a pile
