![]() ![]() Showed her the ad, it was painless. Coupon worked without a problem, she asked where I got it after the transaction was complete, but understood immediately when I mentioned Disney Movie Rewards. Funny thing: she was the department manager of the location I was at, and she was more than a little irate that her product was ringing up at the wrong price (they didn't have the 3D version immediately, so while someone was looking for it in back she was on the phone working out how to get the prices fixed). |

Don't pay any attention to what shelf tags say at Walmart. I have never seen them have the right prices up on day 1. See what happens at the register, and remember that an ad is not a coupon and you are not asking them to price match you are asking them to honor their own advertised price.

Got my 3D combo pack for about $26 at Wal-Mart. I was shocked at the front register to see the price when it rang up but didn't point it out. Figured I may as well take advantage of a good thing, even though I was ready to pay full price. >___>

Hi,
I went to Best Buy this morning and I couldn't do the price match, I printed the ad that was posted here but they needed to see the lower price online and since the price in Walmart's website is 36.99, no price match ![]() I had more problems with the 3 dlls coupon, they told me that the bluray needed to be a Disney bluray combo pack I pointed out that it was in fact a Disney bluray and a combo pack but since the word "Disney" is nowhere to be found on the box(at least I didn't found it) I tried to explain that Disney bought Marvel and blah blah, I had to enter the Disney Movie Rewards website to find the advertising of the movie, the problem was that in the box it had the Paramount logo so they lady wasn't convinced, fortunately another cashier looked in the Best Buy site and in there it said that it was a Disney/Buenavista release, so in case anyone else have this problem with the coupon, just have them check on the BB site. :::EDIT::: I just found in the back on the box that it does says "Buenavista home entertainment" ![]() Last edited by Aztek; 09-24-2013 at 06:29 PM. |

I went ahead and price matched at BB and used the 3.00 coupon for a total of 21.96 + tax. YMMV because I go to my BB every week and they know me there (Elite Plus member).
"This is all highly irregular." (Grig - The Last Starfighter) Just to probe a little further, I went to a second Walmart after lunch and questioned the employee working the electronics department, and he verified that if there had been an ad, the corporate office would have changed the tags for the displays. He had no information whatsoever about an ad, and he laughed when I told him the ad said the BD+DVD+DC was supposed to be the same price as the BD+DC. I think the best thing to do is bring the ad to a Walmart and have them match it since their store name is on it. However, all stores have a disclaimer that says they don't have to honor printed ads if they are considered a "misprint." Has anyone actually seen the in-store price for 24.96? This is a strange launch. |

I went to Walmart and saw the spot for the 3D Blu on the shelf but there were none to be found. I asked a sales person for it and they said they didn't receive any 3D versions. Thats Walmart for ya.
So I went to Best Buy and they had it and I showed them the Walmart/Parade sales flyer and they price matched it for $24.96 no problem whatsoever. ![]() I haven't been on here in a few months because there has been very little in the 3D movie department that really sparked my interest recently. But anyways I'm back and I will be watching Iron Man 3 tonight in 3D and I'll let everyone know what I think of it. I never even got a chance to see it in the theater this summer so it will be the first time I see the movie. Last edited by Operation Swordfish; 09-24-2013 at 08:23 PM. |

It must be available for that price in certain locales because I actually scanned it at 2 different Walmarts and it rang up for 36.96 both times. |

All correct as shown in Parade prices in place on all Walmart displays for Iron Man 3. Price rang up right, DMR coupon rang up no fuss. I didn't want free M&M's all that much so I didn't bother looking for them in favor of a no wait check out line directly in front of me.
$21.96 + tax at Walmart for Iron Man 3D |
