I know someone just made a thread on the 550 series, but i've been watching this particular model on Amazon over the past couple of months, and just noticed today that it finally went under $2000, which is around what I want to spend. I've heard nothing but good things about this tv, and I've seen it on display at Best Buy (well almost, they had the smaller 40 inch model, but it still looked great). I was wondering if anyone had this particular model, and how it performs/looks in your actual home. I'd like to note that I'm upgrading from a 47 inch 1080p Visio. I'll have my PS3, Wii, Xbox 360, and PC all hooked up to it, so I wanted to inquire about what to expect from this particular model. Thanks!

look on avs forum theres an entire thread just for the 650A, the only complaint Ive heard of is the tv randomly shuts off, but it could have been fixed by now, I bought the 550a so I was browsing the forums. Good luck

I've read from a few customer reviews on Amazon that they fixed that problem via firmware update, so that will be a non issue to me. I plan on picking it up the same week GTA4 is coming out, so I'm pretty stoked.

Well, then I don't think you have to worry then, I know my 46550A is freaking beautiful, so you can only go up. Congrats

Thanks man! I was wondering if you had any consoles/PC running on yours, and if so, how do they look? I'll mainly be using this tv for those purposes as well as Blu-Ray. Also, will I noticed much of a difference in BD as say a tv w/a 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio compared to 50,000:1?
