Any kind soul can help me get the magnet? I can pay via paypal or something. I reside in Singapore but have an US address via Concierge. But I would need the code first so I can get both the Steelbook and Magnet send to me together.

Have you tried ebay yet? When they first released, I remember quite a few listings for the magnet.

I combed through the last couple pages of this thread and didn't see the answer. What version of the combo pack will come as a result of redeeming the preorder card? Steel or regular?

If the magnet is the redeeming preorder card you are talking about then, that is for the Steelbook.

If you're talking about the Wal-Mart pre-order card (the one with the magnet), it's the Steelbook.

I haven't seen them at my Wal-Mart either. Of course, they might have just sold out of them maybe the next time I'm in there I will have to ask if they are planning on getting more of them in stock.

I was able to get the magnet card off of eBay a month or so ago for $15, so I am thrilled about that.

I just came back from Walmart and purchased the MOS preorder magnet. My local Walmart had 6 left after I had bought mine. I'm sure the other Walmart near me probably has some in stock as well.

The Walmart in Madison, Alabama (on Madison Boulevard, not the one on U.S. 72) still has about 5 or so as of this afternoon.

I bought one, took it home and found that one of the corners had come off. So I took it back and exchanged it. Still 4 or 5 on the shelf.

Best redeem it because Vudu will be shipping out the bluray in just a few weeks.

Bummed about the lack of 3D but it does looks like a nice SteelBook.

Yeah for the price, it sucks that they couldn't have made the steelbook the 3D version. Will have to buy the 3D version separately & switch out the DVD disc with the 3D disc.

Yup, and that's what I might do. Can always hock the leftovers from the 3D Amaray or slipcover on eBay to recoup some of the cost. There's always the UK version but buying a SteelBook in person is so much more fun.

Are you guys sure the magnet pre-order is for the steelbook? There was a post over at the VUDU forums that the magnet preorder will have an amaray (plastic) case...
