Gotta ask was 30 Days of Night any good? I don't know wether or not it's worth buying could use some feedback. Thanks

Peoples opinions will be mixed for sure, but I really enjoyed it. Great PQ and AQ, too.

I loved it. Really interesting take on the vamp genre. Great PQ and AQ in my opinion. I recommend it (Hartnett not withstanding).

Movie itself is not so good but P and Sq is very very good. I recommend it

Love Vampire movies just wasn't sure if it was worth it couldn't tell too much from the trailer.

The atmosphere of the movie was fantastic - IMO.

I need to re-watch it now that I can hear it in TrueHD.

I enjoyed the movie, great overall story and setting. Some of the fly over shots of the vampires was down right cool. The only downside was the scream of the vampires and the fact that JP from Grandma's boy was a vampire. The screams get annoying and the fact that robot JP is supposed to be a bad@$$ vampire is a tough sell.

I'd probably buy this in a sale, def. will watch it again.

I thought it was great and it provided a fresh portrayal of vampires that I thought worked out well. The PQ/SQ are great also.

Not everyone liked it though and I seem to remember 1 or 2 complaining about it being too dark. Wonder if those same people have seen AVPR?

The darks in this one were not nearly as obscuring as AVP-R, and it was otherwise a pretty good vampire movie, but the end pretty much ruined it for me.

I thought this was the best Hartnett has done. Lucky Number Slevin was good too.

AVP:R proved a very important lesson.

It's much easier to darken things in post production than it is to lighten them up.

personally thought the movie was worth a watch, the vampires were a bit different from the one's you usually get but it was an OK movie & worth a watch imo

I really didn't like this movie, although the AQ/VQ were both top notch. To me, I couldn't sit through this again, and thought the casting was weak. The performances left something to be desired, in my eyes. Not to mention the script, and then the overall plot itself. I usually enjoy movies from this genre, but this one just didn't do it for me.

That's just my opinion though.
