Congratulations, would you like an honorary membership to the gay community

Here's another point of argument for you, I don't believe for a second Liberace was a homosexual, he was nothing more than your average garden variety sociopath and the gay lifestyle provided him with the perfect playground for his feral sexual perversions.

Austin Powers couldn't believe it either.

Amazing performances, even more so when you consider Michael Douglas is older than Liberace was when the latter died. The film is a very good portrait of naivety, manipulation and stardom and should be recognised for the quality of the acting, direction and script. Potential viewers unable to contemplate Michael Douglas and Matt Damon (both heterosexual, enthusiastically so in the case of Douglas) locking lips should be comforted by the knowledge that watching this film will not turn them gay.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Saw it on HBO and wow amazing performances and knowing nothing about any of the people in the movie (yeah even Liberace) I was like damn...that was some crazy crap they lived. Michael Douglas did a fantastic job though, the makeup in general with all the actors was crazy good, and Rob Lowe was just scary. Worth checking out, but I don't think its something I would watch again and again...a little depressing for me.

The slipcase has a glittery spine (leans against doorframe and fans face with hand)

It's a thing of wonder!

I really enjoyed Behind the Candelabra. It made me feel a bit claustrophobic. Between the costumes, houses, surgery, neediness and conveyor belt of young men, it was like being entombed in excess!

Matt Damon and Michael Douglas are brilliant and Rob Lowe's character made me laugh like a witch.
