Alliance SteelBooks usually have French text on the cover and spine, as evidenced by my From Dusk Till Dawn.

'La Nuit La Plus Longue' my drunk Irish ass.

What the heck, you mean I have to get a credit card now to pick these up?! Why can't I go to Future Shop to get these. Guess retail stores are losing business. I have to pick these up though, need to see the artwork first. Hoping they will do Reservoir Dogs and Jackie Brown. This is going to be eone right?

Wishlisted... awaiting artwork.

I'm guessing reprints of the previous Alliance design for Sin City.

No, it should be something new. I can't see them doing a re-release of the old Alliance one. Maybe have Marv on the cover with band-aids or have all the characters on it. Give it a comic book style branding it as the 10th Anniversary.

Oh yeah, and for Pulp Fiction... the usual Uma Thurman laying on the bed with a cigarette and gun.

It's actually very good packaging. I wish Amazon US would use it. When I sell a movie it's always shipped in one of those and people praise the packaging.

Wait... so Alliance is doing these, not eone? I thought they closed down earlier this year, with the last one being Looper and eone doing Django Unchained.

I think it would be great if Alliance was still around just to do steelbooks.
There are so many titles I wished for from these guys. I noticed some Lionsgate titles too, so who knows... American Psycho, anyone?

Figures. I still miss the Alliance logo though. I grew up with it with some of my movies on VHS.

I hope they don't follow WB's suit and use the amaray artwork and heaven forbid, no inside artwork.

This is Canada's chance to shine some more great steel to the world.

Still no artwork on AmazonCA. I was wondering if these could have the "Reel Heroes" artwork? I'm not well versed on how E-one(or Alliance ftm) work with their licensing, but a few of these titles already have "Reel Heroes" artwork: First Blood, T2 & Total Recall. Kind of longshot, and a very hopeful one on my part!

Universal are ones that produce the Reel Heroes releases so I think it's unlikely that these would use that artwork. Hopefully these will be like the last Alliance wave, if so they will be worth buying
