Strange Wilderness - Blu-ray Forum

well, i haven't seen it yet, but i'm expecting it to be good. i mean, grandma's boy was HILARIOUS, and it was a happy madison film also. i know it's coming to dvd May 20. i'm hoping for blu-ray also. and i wish grandma's boy would come on blu also, even tho i have it on dvd already, i'd be willing to re-buy.

i'll probably check out strange wilderness when it comes to the dollar show by my house.

anyone seen it? comments?

the trailer for it was pretty sweet the shark footage with the dubbed over laughter was hilarious.

i thought the movie was hilarious... I saw it twice in the theatre... Granted, I was a little

but it was still funnier than shit. Its a paramount title. Its sad that it wont be comin out on Blu day and date. It will be the first standard DVD I have bought in a long time

same here! I think the PQ could have been gorgeous! The reviews for it were funny though! 0% on Rotten tomatoes! lol.

grandma's boy is one of my favorite movies from happy madison. having said that...strange wilderness was their worst movie yet. it was terrible and i was really trying to like it

that's why i'm definitely going to rent it before i buy it.

but yes, grandma's boy is one of my all time fave movies.

Not to kill the thread here...but since you asked.

This was honestly one of the worst movies I have seen in my life. I like all kinds of different stupid comedies (Dumb and Dumber, Tommy Boy, Saving Silverman)...but this movie was utter trash. The ONLY funny scene was the shark laughing in the water. I saw this movie with 5 of my best friends and when we're together, nearly everything is funny to us...We hardly cracked a smile for the abysmal 80 minutes that this movie ran.

Steven Zahn is one my favorite actors and I love his style of comedy, but with the garbage script there is no room for him to do anything but make stoner jokes. The movie is just stupid joke after stupid joke with very little indication of a plot present. There is even a point where a giant turkey grabs onto the guys penis and can't get it off without having a sexy nurse massage the neck...ugh...Another brilliant scene is where they get into a fight with 2 Puerto Rican guys in a "pimped" out car and the 2 guys use their hydraulics to smash Steve Zahn in the face with their car ... And don't forget, of course they've got to be smoking joints in just about every scene. Seriously the stupidest thing ever. If an hour + of ridiculous stoner jokes sounds good then maybe this movie is for you.

If this movie is coming May 20th then there still is a chance that it will make it to blu day and date for the simple fact that they havent announced anything yet. Until the 20th shows up with no blu title or Paramount announces titles and this is not mentioned, there is still a small chance

I doubt Paramount will announce anything before June. They are still a little grumpy that they failed epically in the Home Theater market.
