A couple of questions regarding modded blu ray players - Blu-ray Forum

Hopefully some of you can help me out with this.

Can you update the firmware on hardware modded blu ray players? I have a Toshiba BDX3200 that is beginning to not read the latest discs and I want to cover my back this time.

Also, where is the best place in the UK to purchase a one of said players? The only place I have found is http://www.mrmdvd.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=159 but I don't know how reliable they are.

I have updated firmware on my modded Panasonic player so I think you should be OK. Also bought from MRM. Very efficient and highly recommended.
