Default Another AVS transplant

I'm sure I'll still spend most of my time at MSAVS, but it will be nice to be able to comment on news without HD DVD zealots pretending that their format can cure cancer.

ottscay, welcome! Yes, a lot less drama here, as you'll see.

Well Blu-ray can't cure cancer either...but HD DVD specs never mentioned it. It's blu-ray that makes all these promises and never delivers. So that's why we should all back HD DVD because although it won't cure cancer...neither will blu-ray and that is a major point HD DVD has over it.

/sarcasm

It's good to take refuge from that cesspool once in a while but we still need Blu-ray supporters there to keep those guys in check otherwise they will brainwash all new-comers into thinking their half baked format is the better choice. Viva Blu-ray!!!

Lol, thanks guys. BTW, in other news it turns out that there will be $50 HD DVD players at every 7-Eleven by early summer, and the Bush administration will require all Iraqi news broadcasts to be encoded in VC-1....

For those of you who have been at AVS, I'm not even a terribly good Blu Ray fanboy (although I think it's a superior format with a better chance of winning), but that forum is so biased it's painful.
