Whoa didn't hear of the sequel before this, is it DTV? The first one was good fun, Scott Adkins has zero charisma but great moves.

Yes its DTV, just like the first one but it was played at Fantastic Fest. And, Scott has much charisma in the Undisputed movies.

Millennium Media will bring to Blu-ray Ninja II: Shadow of a Tear (2013) starring Scott Adkins, Kane Kosugi, Vithaya Pansringarm, Tim Man, Mika Hijii, and Shun Sugata. The release will be available for purchase online and in stores across the nation on December 31.

Synopsis: Casey Bowman has finally settled down. He's happily married to Namiko (who is pregnant with their first child), living in Japan and teaching at the Koga dojo. While buying her a present, Casey is attacked by two punks. He shrugs it off, assuming it to be a simple mugging. But when Namiko is brutally murdered later that same night, Casey's world falls apart. Stricken with grief and thirsty for revenge, Casey tracks down the two thugs who tried to rob him, but they can't provide him with any clues to his wife's murder. So Casey travels to Thailand, to the dojo of a close friend. His grief and anger are taking control of him and he lashes out while sparring with other students. When one of the students is killed in the same way as Namiko, Casey finally gets the clues he needs to track down his wife's killer and unravel a mystery of grudges deep in the Burmese jungle.

Saw it at Fantastic Fest. It is nothing like the first one and it is an incredible flick.

Day One buy and can't wait to watch it again. Probably the best fighting movie ever made.

I like Adkins, and the hype on this one is tremendous. Virtually anyone who has seen it at festivals or reviewed it on line report it's amazing. I'm really looking forward to this.

Anyone who doesn't like this is an idiot or a liar.

But obviously you have to put this in the context that it is a low budget DTV movie.

If that is your mindset, the movie is insane. And it it not just me...there 50 or so reviews out there and every single one is positive.

The movie is just awesome.

Whoever gets this flick to review on this site is going to be like, wth?

Looks really intense and serious compared to the 1st one that i enjoy but was more laughable than anything else !

I don't hate Scott Adkins but is it just me or that guy always do the same kind of character ? Except in Expendables 2, he seems to be free and was as awesome as JCVD. and in Universal Soldier: DOR he steal the show ! But i saw like 10-15 films with him and he looks basically the same, reminds me of Gary Daniels (except with more charisma).

Excellent, I loved the first one so hope this is as good if not better. He's like the JCVD of the 2000's.

Yup and JCVD is still that damn good ! Just saw Enemies Closer... JCVD is awesome as the vilain !!

Scott learns a lot doing like 5 movies at least with Van Damme.

But gosh, i saw a prehistoric story with him and Dolph Lundgreen a couple of weeks ago... it was like Jurrasic Park with no budget, bad acting except theses 2 and very bad CGI !! But the story could have been good, it's not !! and it's in (realllll bad) 3-D !

Both him a JCVD seem to do a lot of films together, I haven't watched the one with Dolph but saw it advertised on IMDB and it looked awful

Dolph is quite funny as the main vilain but there's no fights and i assure you, even if the trailers seems to have one. Punches, and maybe a kick but it's more of a RUN RUN RUN flick and a pretty bad one !!! If at least it had ONE fight between theses 2 it could have been fun and you have tons of thai... and it was made in Thailand so why they don't ask for great fighters ???

JCVD and Scott loves to work together, JCVD asked to have Scott Adkins as his sidekick in Expendables 2 !
